Asin says no to Lingusamy

Lingusamy is planning to remake his Arya-Madhavan starrer Vettai in Hindi. Regarding this he had approached Asin to reprise the role of Sameera Reddy, who played the wife of Madhavan and elder sibling of Amala Paul in the film. But Asin has turned down the offer.

Asin said, “Right now I’m not ready to take up films that have multiple heroines. I definitely cannot do the role of an elder sister. And I also have some date issues,” justifying her decision to turn down Lingusamy.
